We're so glad you're here.
If someone had told us a few years ago that we'd own a coffee business, I would've laughed.
Coffee wasn't the plan.
It all started in our kitchen.
My husband began making homemade cold brew just because we loved good coffee. One day he shared some with our friends. Before long, they were asking for more. Then they started telling other people.
That little bit of encouragement gave us the courage to set up at a small makers market in our hometown. We honestly didn't know if anyone would stop by.
By the end of the day, we had sold out.
We were completely blown away.
From there, we joined our local farmers market and showed up week after week. As more people discovered our cold brew, they started asking if they could buy the coffee we were brewing with. So we began roasting fresh coffee beans, one small batch at a time.
Looking back now, it's easy to see the Lord was gently opening doors we never expected to walk through.
One of the sweetest parts of this journey is that we've always done it together.
Every farmers market, every early morning, every late night roasting coffee, our two little girls were right there beside us. Running a business with young children wasn't always easy, but we never wanted to build something that took us away from one another. We wanted our daughters to grow up watching us work hard, serve people well, and build something together as a family.
Today, we roast every batch fresh here in Oklahoma. Our coffee has found its way into homes, local shops, and the hands of people who have become dear friends along the way. We're still juggling work, homeschooling, homesteading, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with raising a family, but we're living a life we once prayed for, and for that we'll always be grateful.
I'm a wife, a mom, a homeschooler, and I work full time from home. My husband and I are building a homestead here in rural Oklahoma where we're learning how to grow food, care for animals, and live a little more intentionally. Most days we're figuring it out as we go, just like everyone else.
She Rises was born from a love of good coffee, but even more than that, it was born from those quiet mornings before the day begins.
The few minutes before the kids wake up.
Before work starts.
Before the dishes, the laundry, the animals, and everything else waiting for your attention.
Those moments have become some of my favorite parts of the day. Just me and my husband, a fresh cup of coffee, my Bible, and a little quiet before the world gets loud.
That's what I hope She Rises becomes for you.
Not just another bag of coffee sitting on your counter, but a small reminder to slow down and begin your day well.
